Scattered, moderate to heavy showers expected over TN in the next few days
The monsoon trough passes from West Rajasthan to North East Bay of Bengal. An Upper Air Circulation present over the Bay of Bengal off Andhra coast is likely to descend to form a low over the same area. Moderate to heavy rainfall possible over parts of Andhra, Odisha, Telangana and adjoining regions of the interior Peninsula. Parts of the West coast and adjoining ghats may experience moderate rains due to a weak offshore trough.
Parts of TN will see scattered, moderate to heavy thundershowers under the influence of the Bay disturbance. A dip in temperatures is also likely.
