Scattered rains to continue over Tamil Nadu

Seasonal Easterlies are in decent flow over Bay of Bengal keeping the influx of moisture intact over South Peninsula. As a result, scattered rains would continue over Coastal and Interior Tamil Nadu. Though deficits are mounting up largely in coastal districts, there is still light at the end of the tunnel as forecasts indicate a wet spell reminiscent of a typical monsoon materialising, with cluster of systems potentially aiming at TN coastal areas. With warmer seas and uninterrupted easterly flows from South China Sea, monsoon rhythms could last until December mid. Up North, wintry climes have well established in Northern Plains and the nights tend to be chilly and clear.
