Scattered Showers to continue over most parts of TN

Southwest monsoon has further withdrawn from central India. Low pressure area is likely to form on 5th October over Southeast Arabian sea. It is expected to strengthen in to depression and consequently into cyclone.

Conditions are in favour to get some Rainfall over coastal Tamil Nadu, North interior Tamil Nadu today. Many places may come up with substantial number

City Outlook:
Chennai – The sky condition is likely to be  cloudy. Couple of Thunderstorms are likely to occur over some places of the city. Mercury may not cross 33° C.
Vellore – Mostly  cloudy. An afternoon shower or thunderstorm is likely to happen in the city with maximum temperature of 33° C.
Madurai – Sky will be partly cloudy.  Maximum temperature may settle around  34° C. Parts of the city may witness thunderstorms.
Trichy – Partly cloudy day with a maximum temperature of 35° C. Light rain is  possible in the city and its adjoining  regions.
Coimbatore – Mostly cloudy. Mercury will read out  a max of  32° C and the city may witness some showers in the evening.
