Seasonal warm weather firmly in place
In the absence of any moderating systems, hot and dry weather is all set to continue across the state. With the easterly winds weakening, both interiors as well as coastal areas are expected to see warm days and uncomfortable nights. Numerical models indicate similar pattern to continue through this week.
City Outlook:
Chennai – Sunny with a maximum of 35 degrees and a minimum of 27 degrees
Coimbatore – Very warm with a high of about 39 degrees and a low of about 25 degrees
Madurai – Hot with a high of about 39 degrees
Tiruchi – Hot and bright with a high of about 39 degrees and a low of about 26 degrees
Vellore – Hot with a high of 39 degrees and a low of 24 degrees.
