Severe Cyclonic Storm Vardah moves towards the Southern Peninsula

Slow moving Cyclone Vardah intensified into a severe cyclonic storm and is likely to move in a North West track for some time. The final approach towards Landfall is a bit hazy at this juncture with a few weather models suggesting the system to weaken due to dry air. This could mean that Vardah may lose its esteemed title and wash ashore as a depression / Low pressure area.
