Subdued monsoon conditions to prevail over most parts of TN
A Low pressure area has formed over South Andaman sea & it is anticipated to move west-north-westward initially & intensify into a depression in the next 12/24 hours. Thereafter, it could move towards coastal Andhra Pradesh before drifting N/NE towards Orissa/WB Coasts and intensifying into a named tropical storm in the subsequent 48 hours. The exact track and landfall of this system is still unclear with a lot to ground to cover. Further, NEM is expected to revive and get back to its full glory in TN only after this system dissipates. Yet, there is a possibility of isolated spell of sharp showers across the Coastal and southern parts of the state.

Coimbatore – A Sunny and bright day with a high of about 32 degrees and a low of about 22 degrees.
Madurai – A warm and humid day leading to chances of thundery development towards evening/night with a high of about 34 degrees and a low of about 24 degrees.
Trichy – A Partly cloudy day with chances of a passing shower during late evening with a high of about 32 degrees and a low of about 24 degrees.
Vellore – A pleasant day with occasional drizzles leading to a High of about 31 degrees and a low of about 22 degrees.
