Tepid Monsoon conditions continue to dampen the spirits

This period of lull monsoon activity is expected to prolong its run over most of the next week until mid August when Bay is expected to churn up a monsoon favouring low which will track into Central and Western India providing a brief respite for the famers and water managers who are anxiously awaiting extended spell of rains. Until then, widespread rainfall is projected to continue over the Foothills of Himalayas across East and North East parts of the country.
During the same period, scattered to fairly widespread Thunderstorm activity during the evening to continue it’s course over North and Interior Tamil Nadu.
