Thundershowers in parts of TN to continue with little venom

Monsoon rains has slackened over core monsoon zones with a imminent break phase knocking on the doors. Rains are currently confined to small patches of North and Central India. Rains in Kerala and Coastal Karnataka will continue to trend paltry as the deficits are mounting up higher and higher.

Current run of Thundershowers in parts of Tamil Nadu will continue today as well but with little venom. Delta districts, South TN interiors will be the biggest beneficiaries. Hot weather conditions will subside in most parts of the state all thanks to evening Thundershowers.

City Outlook:

Chennai – Warm and humid day with max settling at 35C. Odd shower or two is expected in the outskirts.

Vellore – Cloudy and warm day followed by chances of a drenching TS by evening. Maximum temperatures will hover around 35C mark.

Trichy – Rather cloudy day in the morning clearing late in the day with max of 34/35C. Thunderstorms are expected in the vicinity.

Madurai – Partly cloudy and warm with max of 36C and respite in the form of Thundershowers in the evening.

Coimbatore – Partly sunny with max of 33C and a pleasant night. Thunderstorms are expected in and around the city.
