The last 5 days have seen good rains across North TN. Conditions are not that conducive for widespread rain activities in the next few days. Dry days will return shortly over North TN. The Low pressure system currently over Bengal is likely to move slowly inland and trigger heavy rainfall over West Bengal, Jharkand & Bihar in the next 24 hours.

Chennai – A partly cloudy day with max temperature around 34-35 C. Chances for a Stray Thunderstorm over Suburbs.
Madurai – Fairly hot day ahead with maximum temperature of around 36 C. Thunderstorm formation likely in the afternoon around the city.
Trichy – Searing heat on the cards as the mercury could rise up to 36 C. A warm night Possible.
Coimbatore – Typical Kovai weather likely with maximum temperatures of around 33 C. Afternoons will be partially cloudy and Nights will be comfortable.
Vellore – Warm day ahead with the temperature capping at about 35 C. Chances for a Stray Thunderstorm near the hills during evening/night
