TN expected to sizzle as nature turns up its thermostat

Ht and dry north westerly winds are expected to dominate over most parts of the state leading to the peak scorching period of the famed Indian summer. Both interiors as well as coastal areas are expected to touch record temperatures for this year, over the course of the next 10 days. Places over interiors could easily reach 40-42 degree Celsius this week leading to dangerous conditions for outdoor activity.
