Torrid weather to persist over interior TN

Heat wave conditions are likely to continue for another day over parts of NW India and the Gangetic plain, with conditions easing thereafter due to an approaching western disturbance. A trough with an embedded UAC is likely to lead to thunderstorms at isolated places over Bihar, Odisha and West Bengal. Heavy to very heavy rainfall likely at isolated places over the North Eastern states.

Hot and dry conditions are likely to continue over most parts of TN. Day temperatures are likely to stay above normal. Light rainfall possible at isolated places over extreme South TN and the ghat areas.
