Unperturbed dry weather to prevail across Tamil Nadu

Dominant and seasonal dryness will persist over Tamil Nadu and most parts of South Peninsula. Days tend to be hazy at times with pleasant sunshine and nights turn pleasant and nippy. Early morning fog can be witnessed in few parts of the state. Central and Southern Interiors of the state could possibly see very warm afternoons in the range of 32/33C.

Dense fog will affect parts of Bihar and Sub Himalayan West Bengal. Cold wave conditions are forecast at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Interior Odisha, East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha.

Chennai – Pleasantly sunny with highs of 30C. Modest night at 20C.

Vellore – Sunny and comfortable with max of 30C. Night will turn nippy at 17C.

Madurai – Very warm and sunny with max of 33C and min of 19C.

Trichy – Pleasant and sunny with comfortable highs of 31C. Night will be cool at 20C.

Coimbatore – Warm and sunny with highs of 31C. Pleasant 18C night is expected.
