Warm and dry weather conditions to prevail

Warm day temperatures will prevail over larger parts of Tamilnadu and few isolated places will experience moderate to cooler nights.

Yesterday’s wind confluence over Tamil Nadu has become less marked. A fresh western disturbance likely to affect Western Himalayan region from 16th night onwards.

City Outlook:

Chennai – A pleasant morning  and a warm day ahead to look out with a high of  32c and a low of 23C.

Vellore – A hazy morning, to remain under warm conditions during the day with a max of around 33C and a minimum of 22C.

Coimbatore – Few scattered clouds over the area. Periods of  warm sunshine. A high of 33 degrees and a low of 22 degrees C.

Trichy – Fair Weather likely over the region with a max around 34c and min around 24C.

Madurai – A hot day on cards with a high UV index and a max of 34 degrees C. A stale and warm night with a low of 24 degrees C.
