Weak monsoonal activity expected across TN
Under the absence of favourable atmospheric factors, most parts of TN will continue to see subdued monsoonal activity with isolated thunderstorms at one or two places. Sea breeze activity over most parts of the coast is expected to be weak further lessening chances of rainfall.
The low pressure area over Eastern India continues to be active resulting in significant precipitation over Odisha, Chhattisgarh and adjoining parts. Numerical weather models forecast continued rainfall over most of the West coast in the coming days.
