Yet another day of evening showers for Interior TN
With interior TN sizzling with high temperature, isolated rainfall due to thunderstorms can be expected along the districts close to Western Ghats, interior Tamilnadu and Southern Karnataka.
Thunderstorms accompanied with squalls are very likely over many places in North Eastern States and places over Madhya Maharastra and Marathwada. No significant change in maximum temperatures expected over TN and likely to stay near normal.
City Outlook:
Chennai – Mostly sunny day with humid conditions and temperature hovering around 35C.
Trichy – Scorching hot day ahead with temperature touching 40C.
Madurai – Very warm day on cards with temperature nearing 39C.
Coimbatore – Yet another warm day ahead with the temperature around 36 C.
Vellore – No respite from heat as mercury expected to hit 40C.
