Interior Tamil Nadu To Witness More Rain
North, central interior Tamil Nadu are likely to witness more rains today adding on to a golden spell of widespread rains. Cuddalore district, which has faced one of its heaviest spells in history, along with other areas of coastal Tamil Nadu will see a marked decrease in rains. The former deep depression (would be a depression/LPA by tomorrow) is likely to continue weakening and move west, bringing wet weather to South Interior Karnataka and Central Interior Tamil Nadu. Elsewhere, South Andhra Pradesh would witness some more spells of rain before they taper off. North Kerala could see a few spells of rain
Coastal Tamil Nadu, including Chennai is expected to have a great Diwali, rarely interrupted by rain.
Chennai – A massive reduction in rainfall allowing an enjoyable Diwali. A cloudy day interspersed with sunny weather and a maximum of around 30 C. The odd shower would still occur, but nothing major.
Vellore – Another rainy day ahead along with cloudy weather. A maximum of about 24 C
Madurai – Comfortable day ahead with chances of drizzles. Maximum of around 30 C.
Trichy – Rains to reduce paving way to a cloudy day with a maximum of around 27-28 C
Coimbatore – The city has great chances of rains from the westward tracking system. Maximum of not more than 26 C
