Wondrous weather to continue over South India
The mildly warm days and chill nights are likely to continue with minimum temperatures dipping below 20 C in several parts of Tamil Nadu. Dry air over much of the peninsula with the exception of extreme southern Tamil Nadu is likely to cause chill nights and slightly lower than normal temperatures. A western disturbance as an upper air trough in the mid-level westerlies is likely to affect Jammu & Kashmir and the adjoining Himalayan regions on 13th.

Chennai – A maximum temperature of 30 C likely with a minimum of around 20 C. Chill morning expected.
Madurai – The city will face similar weather to Chennai, with a maximum of 31 C and a minimum of 21 C.
Coimbatore – The city is likely to face a chill morning and a mild afternoon with a maximum of 30 C and a minimum of around 19 C.
Trichy – Yet another city with similar temperatures of a maximum of around 30 C and a minimum of 19-20 C.
Vellore – Inside a dominant patch of drier air coupled with slight elevation and will lead to a maximum of around 29 C and a minimum of about 17 C.
