Indian Monsoon ups the ante and all set in its Journey
The famed Indian monsoon (SWM) has upped the ante and all set to cover the length and breadth of the country. The conditions are ripe for its progress over north Arabian Sea, South Gujarat & MP and regions of Rajasthan in the coming days. The Upper Air Circulation (UAC) over South Gujarat & adjoining north Konkan area lingers on. Added to it, the off shore trough at mean sea level from South Gujarat to North Kerala coast persists. Under its influence, fairly widespread rains are expected over coastal kerala, Karnataka, Konkan & Goa and Maharashtra. Strong surface winds seen and likely to prevail along the west coast. Mumbai region is expected further to soak in the monsoon magic with some heavy spells.
Meanwhile larger areas of TN will see below normal day highs with a odd shower or two at isolated places.

Coimbatore – Breezy morning with scattered cloud cover. A day high of 31 degrees and a nippy night at 21 degrees.
Madurai – A warm day in the offing. Periods of intermittent sunshine. A high of 36 degrees and a low of 26C.
Trichy – Partly cloudy skies at day break and getting warmer as the day progresses. A high of 36 degrees and a warm night at 26 degrees.
Vellore – To remain cloudy and possibility of Thunder showers in spots. A day high of 31 degrees and a low of 25C.
