Bright warm day on the cards

Most parts of the state will experience a warm day as the wait for the monsoon continues. Meanwhile, numerical models indicate the system in the bay to continue being active for the next few days. There is still some amount of uncertainty as to where this storm will make its landfall. Additionally, the first set of seasonal easterlies with possible monsoon onset is indicated by the end of this month give or take a few days. Districts in South TN could experience light to moderate showers on this day.

Madurai – Partly cloudy with a high of about 33 degrees. Chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Trichy – Partly cloudy with a high of about 33 degrees and a low of about 23 degrees.

Vellore – Seasonable day with a high of about 33 degrees and a low of about 19 degrees.

Coimbatore – Partly cloudy with chance of light rains. High of about 33 degrees.
