Scattered rainfall activity to continue over coastal TN
The trough of low pressure at mean sea level lies over south central Bay of Bengal and adjoining equatorial Indian ocean with associated upper air cyclonic circulation extending upto 2.1 Km above mean sea level. Another fresh wet spell is expected over coastal Tamil Nadu and adjoining interior regions out of the aforementioned trough after 2 to 3 days with possibility of isolated heavy rainfall over south coastal Tamil Nadu and adjoining delta districts.
Isolated to scattered rainfall activity is expected over coastal areas of Tamil Nadu during next 2 to 3 days.

City Outlook:
Chennai – Generally pleasant day, maximum hovering around 30 degrees whereas minimum temperature may continue to be above normal to settle around 24 degrees. The sky would be partly cloudy.
Madurai – Sky would be generally cloudy with maximum of around 30 degrees and a minimum of 23 to 24 degrees, light to moderate rains may be expected.
Trichy – Generally cloudy skies with maximum of around 31 degrees and a minimum close to 22 – 23 degrees.
Coimbatore – Pleasant day with partly cloudy skies, maximum expected to be close to 31 degrees and a minimum of around 21 to 22 degrees.
Vellore – No large change expected with maximum settling close to 32 degrees and a minimum of around 18 to 19 degrees.
