Another Spell during weekend on watch

The Low Pressure Area Continues to stay in the same place near Sri Lanka and Adjoining Gulf of Mannar. Due to this, Delta districts, coastal and Southern Tamil Nadu will see some heavy to very heavy rains. Particularly Cuddalore, Karaikal, Villupuram, Nagapattinam, Kanyakumari, Parts of Tirunelveli will see heavy spells.

Chennai Rains: Another spell of rains will return from Sunday onwards. Computer models show heavy spells of rain to begin on Sunday and continue till Tuesday. However, we prefer to wait a bit longer to get a clearer picture on this update.

City Forecasts

Chennai – Temperature will reach 30C. Chances for isolated heavy rains in some places.

Vellore – City will see some heavy showers later in the day. Temperature to hover around 29-30C

Madurai – City will see some heavy showers later in the day . Temperature will reach 29-30C

Trichy – Chances of rain is very high. Maximum Temperature will be 29C

Coimbatore – Generally sky will be cloudy. Heavy rain will occur in some places. Temperature will be around 30C.
