Rainy weather over many parts of the Southern peninsula is all set to abate as a high-pressure area sets over the region. Dry and sunny conditions will prevail, along with cooler nights across entire TN. Numerical weather models indicate that similar weather will continue through the remainder of the week.

City Outlook:

Chennai – Clear with brilliant sunshine. High of about 29 degrees and a low of about 23 degrees.

Trichy – Warm with a high of about 33 degrees and a low of about 19 degrees.

Madurai –Warm and clear with a high of about 33 degrees.

Vellore – Pleasant with a high of about 31 degrees and a chilly night with a low of about 16 degrees.

Coimbatore – Bright sunshine with a high of about 31 degrees and a cool night of about 18 degrees.
