The trough of low at Mean Sea Level from Southeast Arabian sea to Konkan coast persists. Having brought widespread rains over many districts of Tamil Nadu, notably in South TN over last one week, scattered rains likely to continue at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Pudhucherry and Kerala. Dry and hot weather ahead for TN.
Minimum temperature very likely to fall by 2 – 3C over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan. No significant change in temperature over rest of the country during next 2-3 days.

Chennai – Typical Chennai weather to continue with minimal chances of rains. Maximum temperature to hover around 32C.
Trichy – Warm and humid weather with a maximum of 32 C to continue.
Madurai – Partly cloudy day with possibility of isolated rains. Maximum temperature to be around 32 C.
Coimbatore – Maximum temperature to be around 29-30 C with cloudy weather accompanied by drizzles.
Vellore – Slightly chill weather with a maximum of 30 C and minimum temperature of around 22C.
