Cool and Dry Weather to greet the New Year

Dry weather likely to continue over North and Interior parts of TN, Isolated showers likely over southern parts of state.
The trough of low with cyclonic circulation over South Andaman sea persists. Northern parts of the state to remain dry. Interior parts of TN to be slightly cooler than normal during nights. No significant change expected in the next few days.

City Outlook:

Chennai – Cool and Foggy morning becoming warm during the day, sky to remain partly cloudy. Day temp likely to be around 30C, Night temp will be closer to 20C.

Vellore – A delightful morning with fog around. A comfortable and pleasant day to herald the New year. A max of 30 degrees C and turing cool in the night with a minimum of 17 degrees C.

Madurai – To remain dry and warm during the day. Day temp to be around 32C, Night temp is expected to be around 21C.

Tiruchirapalli – Day to remain clear and dry, with max temp to touch 31C and night temp to be around 21C.

Coimbatore – To stay cooler through out the day and night becoming chiller. Day temp to be around 30C and night temp to be around 18C.
