Cool and sunny weather set to dominate TN

The short and sweet south Indian winter is expected to continue with sunny days and pleasant nights. No rainfall is expected over the state as the seasonally dominant high pressure area prevails. A western disturbance will move across northern parts of the country bringing colder weather albeit with dry conditions.

City Outlook:

Chennai – Mostly clear and cool. High of about 30 degrees and a low of about 25 degrees.

Vellore – Bright and clear with a high of about 29 degrees and a low of about 19 degrees.

Madurai – Seasonally pleasant with a high of about 31 degrees and a low of about 22 degrees.

Trichy – Pleasant day with lot of sunshine and a high of about 31 degrees.

Coimbatore – Mostly sunny with a high of about 29 degrees and a low of about 21 degrees.
