Dry weather to continue for the next 24 hours

With no rain making systems seen around in the vicinity of the peninsula, dry and sunny weather to prevail across the region with slight increase in day time temperatures.

Far in the North and North west, under the influence of western disturbance, rains/ thunderstorms could affect J&K and the adjoining Himachal Pradesh.

City Outlook:

Chennai can expect a hot and sultry day with  maximum temperature settling around 35 C.

Coimbatore to remain warm and dry with a maximum of 34 C.

Madurai will stay hot with a day time high of about 37 C.

Trichy could expect a hot and uncomfortable day with a maximum of 38 C.

Vellore to have high temperatures of around 38 C with hot, sultry conditions.
