Dry weather to continue in TN for next few days

Dry weather will continue in TN and rest of India due to lack of any significant weather disturbance. There is one rain bearing  feature which is likely to affect the northwest India (Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh) and extreme northern part  of peninsula(Jammu and Kashmir) which will bring some sporadic rain over that region. Prolonged dry spell in TN may come to an end next week as thunderstorms expected to return. There will be a gradual increase in temperature over most parts of TN as we move towards next week.

City Forecast

Chennai: Max Temperature will be slightly above normal and is expected to remain closer to 30-31C.

Madurai: Clear skies with max temperature moving around 32C.

Coimbatore: Max temperature will stay above normal and will be at 30-31C.

Trichy: Pleasant weather to continue in city as the max temperature will hover at 31C.

Vellore: Max temperature will settle around 31C.
