Dry Weather to prevail in most places of Tamil Nadu
The trough in the lower level easterlies over southwest Bay of Bengal off south Srilanka coast extending upto 0.9 km above mean sea level persists. Due to which, light rains are expected in the Tamil Nadu coast along Gulf of Mannar. This will be the last spell of rains before start of the dry spell for entire State.
Meanwhile, a trough of low at mean sea level over equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Malay peninsula persists, this is going to bring heavy to very heavy rainfall to Andaman & Nicobar Islands with many stations expected to record over 125 mm rainfall.

Chennai- The sky will be less cloudy compared to past few days with mercury around 30-31 C with no chance for rains. Night Temperature will fall at around 22 °C.
Coimbatore – Day will be cloudy with drizzles to start of the day. The day temp well be around 31 C and a low will be on higher side at 22-23 C.
Vellore – Clear day with maximum temp at 30-31 C with sharp dip at minimum temp at 20 C.
Madurai – Sunny day as temperature at around 32-33 C and mimimum hovering around 22-23C.
Trichy – Temp will hover around 31-32 C with minimum at 21-22 C.
