Hailstorm Saturday ahead for Few Places in India

A trough of low at mean sea level lies over southeast Bay of Bengal & adjoining south Andaman Sea. Under its Influence, light to moderate rains are on the cards in extreme south TN. Larger areas of TN will remain dry coupled with slightly above normal day max temperatures.
Meanwhile parts of central India likely to witness few spells of rains and a possible hailstorm in few areas. North eastern states will see some isolated showers over the weekend. The said scenario is expected to continue for few more days. A fresh western disturbance will affect the Western Himalayan region around 9th March.

City Forecast:

Chennai – A stale and warm morning. Day max to hover around 33 degrees C. Reasonably comfortable night with a low of 23 degrees.
Vellore – “Fort City” will continue to be on the warmer side with a day high of 35 degrees C. A low of 22 degrees C.
Trichy – A comfortable morning leaving way to sunny intervals. A high of 35 degrees C and a low of 24 degrees C
Madurai – Partly cloudy skies over the region. Staying warm and a bit uncomfortable with a high of 35 degrees and a low of 24 degrees C.
Coimbatore – Sky will be generally cloudy with a day max temp of 33C and a min of 23C.
