Hot and oppressive conditions set to continue over the state of TN with no respite seen at all. Few places across the state, mainly interiors are consistently scaling the dreaded 40 degree mark with nonchalant ease. A case of eternal 40’s if could call it. On the other hand, a relief of sorts for coastal areas in the form of timely sea breeze arrival would ensure near normal temperatures .
Moving further up north, heat wave conditions is expected to torment regions like Telangana, Madhya Maharashtra, Rajasthan while NE states will continue to receive thunderstorm over the next few days.
City Outlook:
Chennai – A slightly breezy morning leaving way to a bright and sunny day. Day high should hover around 36 degrees and a warm and sultry night to round off the day.
Coimbatore – Clear and Sunny through the day. Day max should peak at 37 degrees with a slight chance of evening showers.
Madurai – Scorcher of a day to expect. A high of 41 degrees and a stale and warm night on the cards.
Trichy – Hot and humid conditions set to continue through the day. A high of 41 degrees.
Vellore – A calm morning. Getting hotter and hotter as the day wears on. An uncomfortable high of 42 degrees seems a definite possibility.
