Hot and sunny conditions set to continue over TN
The trend of hot and sunny day time conditions set to prevail over interior regions of TN. Certain pockets of TN like Karur, Salem, Erode, Madurai, Trichy and northern plains of the state like Vellore, Tirupattur will continue to record above normal day highs in the next few days. North Coastal TN will remain warm with breezy evenings. Few districts in Western TN, ghat regions would see isolated evening showers after a hot & sunny morning.
City Outlook:
Chennai – Few scattered clouds at day break. A sunny day in prospect with day high hovering around 35 degrees..Breezy evening ahead.
Coimbatore – Day will remain hot and sunny with the day max peaking at 38 degrees. Chance of a thunderstorm towards evening.
Madurai – No let up seen here as the day time highs continue to be above normal leading to uncomfortable afternoons. . A high of 39 degrees in prospect.
Trichy – Another hot and steamy day in the offing. Day highs will hover around 40 degrees with less chance of precipitation.
Vellore – Near perfect summer day on cards with the day high expected to peak around 40 degrees. A warm evening/ night to follow.
