Hot conditions to persist over interior TN
The well marked low over Southeast Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify and move North-Northeastwards in the next day or two, away from the Indian east coast. Heavy rainfall likely at a few places over Andaman and Nicobar islands. Heat wave conditions are likely to worsen over parts of West, North West India and Central India, with severe heat wave likely over parts of Gujarat and Rajasthan, Thunderstorms likely at isolated places over Kerala and the NE states.
Hot and dry conditions to persist over most parts of TN, with interior districts bearing the brunt of the heat. Thundershowers possible at isolated places over the ghat areas.
