Monsoon to notch up good pace with favourable conditions seen
Roaring southwest monsoon across peninsular India is likely to gather extra momentum under the influence of developing low pressure system off North AP adjoining Odisha coast. The said system would cause heavy rainfall at isolated places of Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh & North AP. On the other side, monsoon friendly off-shore trough seen extending all along the west coast is a reassuring factor causing rains along the coastal stretch and Western Ghats.
Owing to active weather conditions over peninsula, TN would see cloudy weather conditions and few regions would see scattered showers, North TN in particular is likely to benefit.
