No respite from the heat for Interior TN

The Last 2 days saw some activity in the interiors of Peninsular India due to the wind confluence. Conditions are now returning back to normal and heat is getting a definitive toehold. Light rain is likely to occur over interior Karnataka and parts of Kerala North interior TN will witness hot and dry conditions and easterlies are likely to make the coastal warm and humid.

CHENNAI – Warm and uncomfortable day ahead with the Max around 35c and Min around 25c.Humidity will be peak at 80%.

VELLORE – A max of 37c will ring in a warm afternoon. Min will be around 24c with max humidity reaching 65%.

COIMBATORE – Will Have a sunny day with a max of 37c and Min of 24c. Peak humidity will be at 60%.

TRICHY – Dry and uncomfortable weather likely over the region with Max around 38c and min around 26c.Humidity will peak at 70%.

MADURAI – City likely to witness intense heat and the max temp is expected to be around 38c with a min of 24c.Max humidity of 65% is expected
