Peninsular Thunderstorms to Peter out
A Low Pressure area is seen spinning majestically in Central Bay of Bengal some 600 km east of Chennai. This area of yet to be organized convection is showing signs of intensification and likely to become Deep Depression soon. It is presently tracking west & Northwestwards toward the Coromandel coast.
The consensus track from the latest weather model updates now expect the storm to likely to make it’s landfall in Andhra Pradesh-Orissa border around Deepavali time.
As the action has shifted to Bay, daily evening Peninsular Thunderstorms would greatly diminish and fizzle out during the next couple of days. Tamil Nadu would be dry today except for a few odd Thunderstorms in Northwest Tamil Nadu.
