Pull effect of LPA to provide rains to Chennai and surrounding areas

The Deep depression which devastated TN  and SAP has entered Arabian sea, it is pulling moisture towards it from Bay of Bengal which is passing through NC-TN &  SC-AP.  Heavy moisture pull is expected to create popups in sea which will move towards Chennai and surrounding areas to provide rains. The deep depression created massive rains in Cuddalore and  interior TN,  with Neyveli receiving 480mm of rainfall in 6-8hrs on 9/11/15. However the deep depression has weakened into LPA and emerged into Arabian sea, Global models are watching this development closely, time alone will tell if it develops into a full fledged system. On the other hand  Global models are indicating possibly formation of another low pressure in SE  bay towards this weekend, it is too early to predict where it is expected to move towards.  Let’s wait for further inputs.
