Rains set to Increase leading up to a Wet Sunday

The Low Pressure Area (LPA) which formed Over Lakshadweep and adjoining Arabian Sea yesterday, maintained the same position today. This is likely to produce heavy rains For Kerala and parts of Western Ghats.

A fresh circulation seen near south Central bay looks ominous and is set to bring the Coastal Areas of TN under a spell of widespread Heavy Rains on Sunday and Monday.

Chennai – City will See Temperature around 30-31C with On and Off heavy rains throughout the day.

Vellore – Chances of heavy rains in the evening. Max Temperature will touch 30c.

Madurai – Heavy Rains may occur in one or two places. Temperature will be rangebound at 29-30C.

Trichy – The Rockfort City is set for a cloudy day with a max temp of 30-31C.

Coimbatore – Very good chances for Rain. Temperature will be a pleasant 29C.
