Rains To Continue In Southern And Central Tamil Nadu
Though the easterly wave approaches an end, rains are likely to continue in parts of Tamil Nadu. Cloudy skies are expected across the peninsula with the intensity of the rains coming down a notch. However, this is not the end of rains as there as another easterly spell in the vicinity which is expected to impact the coast in a few days, possible bringing even more widespread showers to the arid state.

Chennai – Cloudy skies, clearing later in the day with chances of drizzles. Maximum of 30 C.
Madurai – A cloudy day with not much heat despite the humidity with showers occurring intermittently. Maximum of 28-29 C.
Trichy – Comfortable day with a maximum of 28-29 C interspersed with showers.
Coimbatore – Typical Coimbatore weather with a maximum of 29-30 C. Chances of showers exist.
Vellore – Warm day at 29 C with little chances of rains.
