Rains to continue in western interior parts of TN

A trough runs roughly from central interior Karnataka to Comorin area. An Upper Air circulation is also embedded on this trough.Medium Rains would continue across many parts of north western Interior & central interior Tamil Nadu districts. Heavy rainfall is likely to occur over isolated places in south interior Karnataka, parts of western interior Tamil Nadu.

City Outlook:

Chennai can have on and off cloudy day and  the maximum temperature will settle close to 34-35 C. Rains chance is remote.

Madurai – City will have max temperature of 37 C with chance of rains later in the day.

Coimbatore – a warmer day on cards with temperature settling close to 38 C. Rains expected in the afternoon.

Vellore – Sunny  to partly cloudy with a maximum temperature of 37 c. Region may have light rain.

Trichy – Partly cloudy and maximum temp will stay at 37 C, with light chance of rains in the evening/night.
