An upper air circulation over Assam is likely to lead to thundersquall at isolated places over the North-eastern states. Thunderstorm accompanied by squall likely at isolated places over Kerala.
Hot and dry conditions to prevail over most parts of TN, with small chances of light to moderate rainfall over the ghat areas. Day temperatures are expected to be above normal, with a further rise in temperatures likely over the interiors. Night temperatures are also expected to be slightly above normal.

Madurai – A scorching hot day with partly cloudy skies. A high of 40 degrees and a low of 26 degrees. A small chance of rainfall later in the day.
Tiruchi – A hot day with a partly cloudy sky. High of 41 degrees and a low of 27 degrees.
Vellore – Another scorcher of a day with a high of 41 degrees and a low of 27 degrees.
