The axis of the monsoon trough passes from North Rajasthan to Nagaland. Heavy rain likely at isolated places over Bihar, Assam, Meghalaya, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi, UP, East Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa and Coastal Karnataka. Light to moderate showers possible over parts of Interior Peninsula, with heavy rains at isolated places. A low pressure area is likely to form over northwest Bay of Bengal in the next 2-3 days which will rejuvenate the monsoon surge next week.
Parts of interior TN are likely to see scattered convective thundershowers, with a chance of heavy rainfall at isolated places. Light to moderate thundershowers likely over parts of Coastal TN. Light to moderate showers likely over the ghat areas.
