Sedate march of South West Monsoon continues
Having conquered the Bay of Bengal and North East India, the South West Monsoon is marching over the remaining Indian land mass at a relatively slow pace, presently kissing northern Konkan coast and the parallel regions of the eastern coast. Conditions are favourable for the monsoon to conquer some more parts of Central Arabian Sea, entire Goa, south Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, parts of North Interior Karnataka, and remaining parts of peninsular India during the next 3 to 4 days.
Thunderstorm activity is expected to remain subdued in Tamil Nadu, except for an isolated odd shower in North interior and North coastal districts. The day time temperatures will stay close to normal across Tamil Nadu.
Heavy to very heavy rain occurred at isolated places over Kerala, Assam and Meghalaya.
