South West Bay of Bengal put on notice
The Line of Wind Continuity (LWD) now runs from East Vidarbha to South Tamil Nadu across Telangana and Rayalaseema and will continue to trigger isolated thunderstorm activity. Thunderstorms with squall/hail is likely over parts of North East India. Duststorm/thunderstorm with squall is also likely over isolated parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan. South Tamil Nadu/interior Tamil Nadu may see scattered thunderstorm activity with isolated rainfall over rest of Tamil Nadu.
However, the real action now shifts over to the warm waters of the SW Bay of Bengal. A Low pressure Area may form over SW Bay of Bengal adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean under the influence of an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation during the next 2 to 3 days.
