South West Monsoon ” Ups its Ante” in sight of a well deserved Chequered flag

The ever intriguing South West Monsoon is on a cruise mode over the central plains of the country last few days and this scenario is set to.continue over the weekend under favourable conditions.

The annual monsoon rally with minimal pit stops this year seems to be in no mood to release the foot of the accelerator and is well on the verge of completing the gruelling, marathon four month lap in style and in time when the chequered flag is waved. The Low pressure area over North coastal Odisha & adjoining Gangetic West Bengal with an associated cyclonic circulation is seen persisting along with the monsoon trough at mean sea level passing through Jaisalmer Kota regions and thereby enhancing precipitation over Madhya Maharashtra. Konkan & Goa, Vidharba, Chhatisgarh, Gujarat, Telengana, Odisha and pockets of coastal AP.

Down south in coastal TN, chances of few isolated Usain “Lightning” Bolt Sprint storms may continue to entertain the “pluviophile” towards evening/ night over the weekend. Thunderstorm activity is expected to up its ante next week with some sustained athleticism befitting a long distance or a marathon race.
