Sweltering conditions to prevail over most places in TN
With the Sun moving more and more northward, extreme south peninsular regions are receiving Sun’s incident rays almost overhead in the noon hours. This along with the absence of rains/clouds is making conditions more uncomfortable for people going out in the noon and afternoon hours.
TN and major parts of south India will be under sweltering heat conditions with Kerala being an exception, will continue to have showers towards late afternoon/evening. Some isolated places along western ghats in TN will also have chances of rains. Parts of north eastern states likely to get some hail/thunderstorms during the next 24 hours.
