Thunderstorm activity to continue in isolated areas of TN
Showers and thunderstorm action centered over interior districts of TN is continuing unabatedly for the past few days and it is more likely to continue with few isolated areas to witness squally conditions associated with thunderstorms.
Locally heavy falls might occur in few places of Western districts like Coimbatore, Erode, Tiruppur and Namakkal. Adding to that, Chitoor district of Andhra Pradesh and North interior districts of TN like Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Salem, Vellore, Tiruvanamalai might also see isolated thunderstorm activity in one or two places.
City Outlook:
Chennai: Cloudy start to the day with drizzles in one or two areas in the morning hours. Stiff evening breeze will be a comfort factor.
Vellore: Warm and humid day with low clouds hovering around the hills. One or two areas might see evening showers. Max temp in the range of 36-37c.
Coimbatore: Warm conditions slowly lead to thundershowers in the evening. Max temp-34-35c.
Tiruchi: Hot conditions to prevail with one or two region might see evening showers. Max temp to be around 36-37c
Madurai: Chance of showers in one or two places by evening. Max temp will stick around 36-37c.
