Thunderstorms/Squally Weather likely over pockets of Central India
Yesterday’s trough in low level easterlies from Comorin area to South Interior Karnataka persists. The north and eastern regions of the country are under the influence of series of upper air circulations triggering rainfall activity over the regions. Thunderstorms and squall is also likely over regions like Madhya Pradesh, Vidharba, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya.
Down south, light to moderate rains at isolated places over Tamilnadu, Kerala, coastal, south interior Karnataka and Telengana over the next day or two. Overall no major change is foreseen in the prevailing weather pattern over larger areas of TN and Puducherry in the next two to three days. Fair weather most likely to dominate largely over TN.

Madurai – Hot and sunny periods leading to a high of 37 degrees. Nights to remain warm with a minimum of around 24 degrees.
Trichy – A partly cloudy sky with the max touching a high of 35 degrees and a low of around 23 degrees.
Coimbatore – Another warm and sun soaked day with a maximum of 35 degrees and a minimum of 23 degrees.
Vellore – The sky condition would remain partly cloudy, periods of abundant sunshine with a high of 36 degrees and a low at a somewhat pleasant 23 degrees C.
