TN to witness above normal temperature with sporadic thundershowers

An upper air circulation lies over north west Bay of Bengal off the Odisha and West Bengal coasts. Heavy rainfall likely at isolated places over Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and the north eastern states. The south west monsoon is likely to withdraw from some parts of northwest India during the next 2 days. 

Most parts of TN to experience above normal temperatures, with chances of sporadic thunder showers at isolated places.

Chennai – Partly cloudy sky with a maximum of 35 degrees and a minimum of 27 degrees. 

Coimbatore – High of 34 degrees and a low of 21 degrees. 

Madurai – Hot weather to persist with a high of 37 and a low of 25 degrees. 

Tiruchi – A hot day with a partly cloudy sky. Maximum of 36 degrees and a minimum of 25 degrees. 

Vellore – Partly cloudy sky with above normal temperatures. Maximum of 37 and a minimum of 26 degrees.
