Warm and Partly cloudy weather to persist in TN

Warm and partly cloudy weather expected with very less possibility of rains in plains of Tamil Nadu.

South west monsoon is less active along southern part of west coast however seasonal light rainfall will continue during next 24 hours. Meanwhile, low pressure area over northern Odisha will bring heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places of Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Telangana, Konkan and other central, northeastern belt of the country. Rough sea conditions may prevail over east central Arabian sea due to strong monsoon surge.

City Outlook:

Chennai – Warm and partly cloudy skies ahead with max temperature settling around​ 35-36c and min temp around 27c.

Vellore – Clear skies with max temp possible around 34-35c and min temp around 25c.

Trichy – Cloudy skies and windy day with max temperature around 36c and min around 25c.

Madurai – Party cloudy skies and maximum temperature may shoot upto 37c and min possible around 25c.

Coimbatore – Comfortable weather with maximum temperature possibly around 31c and min of about 23c.
