Northern regions continue to be under a blanket of dense to very dense fog conditions
The trough of low at mean sea level over southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining equatorial Indian Ocean persists. The upper air cyclonic circulation over Meghalaya & neighbourhood extending upto 0.9 km above mean sea level persists. Isolated showers likely in pockets of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Rest of the country would largely remain dry. Dense to very dense fog conditions to continue over most parts of Punjab, north Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and few areas north eastern states. Meanwhile southern peninsula would embrace fair weather conditions with marginal increase in day time max temperatures. Regions around Telengana, East MP and Vidharba would see above normal day time temperatures. Tamilnadu will be fairly dry and almost near normal conditions to prevail.
